Children in grades 3+ become published authors as we guide them through the exciting process of writing and illustrating a professionally published, hardcover book. Read below about celebrating together at the Author Signing Party!
Order copies of your child's published book as keepsakes or gifts. Your school library will also add a copy to its collection for checkout, where supported.
Fun brainstorming activities, the freedom to stretch their imagination, and encouragement to use their own ideas for illustrations combine to form a unique and exciting way for children to discover and express their creative side.
Creativity develops critical thinking skills, enhances problem-solving abilities, promotes social development, and improves communication.
Students improve their proficiency in the vital skills of the writing process, including drafting, revising, editing, evaluating, and publishing, to help them shine throughout their education and, eventually, their chosen occupation.
Children will also learn how to use interesting text features, consistent verb tense, word variation, written dialog, effective pictures, copyright rules, and more.
Children will delight in sharing their success at Junior Author Camp with family and friends at their very own Author Signing Party. This event is of course optional, and parents may choose to instead have their child's books delivered to them at school. See our gallery of party pics!
You may order as many book copies as you'd like. Once they arrive, we'll host a party at your child's camp location. There, your child will personally sign each book as his or her friends and relatives line up to have their copy inscribed by their new favorite author.
Updates will be sent via email to notify you of when to clear your calendar for the big day!
