Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By registering your child (Camper) for Junior Author Camps or Best Ever Book Club (Camp), you agree to the following:
- Tuition Payment: At the time of registration, Camp will charge the credit card used for the first month's tuition. Camp will automatically charge this card for the same amount each month through May of the current school year, or until you cancel your Camper's attendance at Camp.
- Behavior Policy: Camp aims to create a positive and supportive environment for all participants. Camp reserves the right to terminate a Camper's participation if their behavior is deemed harmful, dangerous, aggressive, or if it constitutes bullying of other students.
- Photograph Usage: Camp may use photographs of Campers taken during camp sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your Camper's photograph to be used, please notify us in writing at lisa@juniorauthorcamps.com.
- Communication: Camp will communicate with you via email regarding Camp sessions and your Camper's participation.
- Newsletter Subscription: Upon registration, you will be subscribed to Camp's newsletter. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email.
- Release and Hold Harmless: You release and hold harmless Camp from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Camper or any property belonging to the Camper while participating in Camp activities or while on the premises where the activities are conducted.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your Camper's attendance at any time. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current month, and no further charges will be applied.
- Privacy Policy: Camp respects your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide Camp services or as required by law.
- Emergency Contact Information: Parents must provide a phone number at the time of registration. This information will be used only in case of an emergency involving the Camper.
- Medical Consent: In the event of an emergency, you authorize Camp staff to seek medical treatment for the Camper if necessary. You agree to bear any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
- Late Pick-Up Fees: If a parent or guardian is more than 10 minutes late in picking up the Camper, the following fees will be charged to the credit card on file: $10 for the first late pick-up, $25 for the second late pick-up, and $40 for the third and any subsequent late pick-ups.
- Changes to Terms: Camp reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to parents via the email used at the time registration.
By completing the registration process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
